At Frue Plads, the square surrounding the Copenhagen Cathedral, Our Lady's Church (Vor Frue Kirke), the annual arts and crafts open air market is held in the beginning of August. Here you can meet the people in the stands and have a chat, you can see their unique works, you can purchase the objects and bring home unusual souvenirs bought directly from the people who have created them. All participants at the numerous stalls are members of the Danish Arts and Crafts Association.
