Come along to BLÆSTIVAL at Dokken City Beach in Esbjerg on Thursday 19th June and Saturday 21st June 2025
On Thursday, 19th June and Saturday, 21st June, 2025, we will light the creative lighthouse at Dokken City Beach, and we would love to have you join us when the beach is transformed into BLÆSTIVAL!
For only DKK 30 per child (adults go free with children), two days filled with:
Creative workshops – bead plates, badges, maritime drawings and postcards, all inspired by the wildlife of the North Sea and Esbjerg’s proud fishing history await you.
Fisker-Troles’ræs – jump into a papier-mâché cutter, swing the fishing rod and catch herring through the waves of the sandbar!
Mageklatklask – hit cans with Fisker-Troels’ face with soft seagull “blots” filled with buckwheat grains.
Haddock throw – send haddock fish flying into the fish boxes in a snap.
Fish pond – clean the pond of trash and save Bette Sild from marine pollution.
Sansebingo – dip your hands in seaweed, sand or shells and guess what the North Sea is hiding.
Our creative skippers are ready to guide young and old, so that no one misses out on play, learning and ocean fun.
Will the weather be nice and windy – or downright mischievous? Don’t panic! We have covered comfort zones to keep you dry. But we’re betting on it.
And when your stomach rumbles (or you get the urge for ice cream), you’ll find delicious food, ice cream and coffee stalls ready to refuel between races, clack-claps and haddock throws.
Come and feel the sand between your toes, the imagination at your fingertips and the community in your heart. We look forward to blowing you away – in the very windy way!
