Broholm Slot

For anyone with just a minimum of historical flair or romantic-nostalgic fondness, a visit or stay at Broholm Castle.

At Broholm Castle, you can experience an exciting odyssey through almost 700 years of Danish history from Christopher II to Margrethe II, with the intervening 29 kings and 1 queen as actors or extras in the sagas of the Ulfeldts, Skeels, and Sehesteds. Broholm Castle is convenient, manageable, and in the lounges, all of which are different and uniquely authentic, guests easily find their place.

Broholm Castle is incredibly idyllic with a park, manor house lake, moats, and watermill just west of the Nyborg-Svendborg road (163) halfway between Hesselager and Oure. Facing the castle lake is the museum "Chamberlain N.F.B. Sehested's Collection of Antiquities" with 60,000 ancient artifacts, now owned and operated by the Svendborg & Omegn Museum.

It is possible to book a guided tour of the castle or enjoy a delicious lunch in their restaurant.
