Goods have to be loaded, the course has to be stabbed, knots have to be tied and the moorings must be thrown when children of all ages can experience Poul Kinafare's journey from the stables to grandparents. If the children pass the hardships, they pass the Sailor's Test!
Back in the 18th century, the farmer's son Poul Kinafari sailed the entire 3 times to China. He then settled down as a grocer in Faaborg and ended up as a successful merchant. Price per person dkk 25,-

The museum in Den Gaard is the place where you can find out more about Faaborg's history and feel yourself left for another time both inside and outside. The entrance to the museum is right at the end of the pedestrian street and in the entrance you will find the beautiful newly renovated museum shop where you can buy a memorial or a gift.
