Free Creative Workshop in the Autumn Holidays: Weaving, Rope, and Textiles
Autumn holidays at Holstebro Art Museum and Holstebro Museum offer creative experiences for the whole family. Drop by the creative workshop, where both kids and adults can experiment with weaving, rope, and textiles. Create unique pieces and enjoy cozy moments in inspiring surroundings.
Holstebro Art Museum and Holstebro Museum are behind an exciting autumn holiday activity for the whole family.
From Saturday 12 to Sunday 20 October, we will open the doors to a creative workshop inspired by the current special exhibition, FABRICA. The theme of the workshop is 'Braid, rope and textile'.
Take the chance to explore textile collages, make giant braids and try your hand at mini-looms under expert guidance.
We also welcome guest artists from Bystuen in Vinderup and the Open Air Museum Hjerl Hede , who will teach you techniques in weaving, rope making and felting. Throughout the autumn holidays, there will be fun and educational activities for all ages, both in the workshop and in the beautiful museum garden.
Practical information:
- The workshop is free after paying admission to the museums.
- Children and young people under the age of 26 always have free entry.
- Bystuen in Vinderup and Hjerl Hede will participate in the workshop from 14 to 16 October.
- The museums are open: All weekdays from 12.00 to 16.00 and on weekends from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The workshop is open from 12.00 to 15.00.
- The museums are part of the children's ticket in week 42, which Holstebro Handelsforening is behind.
