Open house in the apiary during Geopark Days - make wax candles and build insect hotels with the whole family.
In connection with Geopark Days 2025, Langeland Beekeepers Association opens the doors to their apiary in Tranekær. Both children and adults can enjoy an exciting and sensory experience with bees at the centre.
From 11am to 3pm, you are invited inside the apiary where you can try rolling your own wax candles and building insect hotels in larch wood. It costs DKK 25 to take home two homemade wax candles, and you can build and take home a complete insect hotel for DKK 150, which covers the cost of the materials.
