Restaurant Parnas is a festive dance restaurant located in the heart of the old city. The kitchen is ruled by the chef and his son, and the chef’s daughters wait on the guests.
The restaurant has a an animated, welcoming atmosphere and serves up a traditional menu of hearty Danish dishes such as 'biksemad' (a type of hash) with fried eggs, and 'stegt flæsk med persillesovs' (slices of pan-fried salted pork served with potatoes and parsley sauce).
During the Christmas Season you can enjoy a traditional Danish Christmas buffet with herrings, ham and cheese.
Restaurant Parnas has earned a loyal following of late diners who come to enjoy an evening of good food, vibrant music and all-night dancing. The piano player strikes up the dance floor at 9 with music ranging from jazz and rock to country.
The kitchen closes at 11.30pm, but you can still order piles of ‘stegt flæsk med persillesovs’ all night long.
