Experience an unforgettable evening of world-class ballet when the Royal Summer Ballet takes over the historic setting of Børglum Abbey on June 13, 2025. In collaboration with the Royal Danish Theatre and Theater Hjørring, everyone is invited to enjoy a spectacular outdoor performance that combines the noble art form of ballet with the unique atmosphere provided by the historic surroundings of Børglum Abbey.
A unique experience for everyone
The ballet performance begins at 7:00 PM and lasts approximately 75–90 minutes. It is a very special opportunity to experience Danish ballet at the highest level – completely free of charge! The performance is open to anyone who wants to be captivated by the beautiful and moving expression of the dance.
This open-air evening is not just a ballet performance, but an opportunity to come together in a unique setting and be touched by art together with others. Amy Watsom, the theater's new ballet director, said of the event: "I'm excited to bring Denmark's unique storytelling ballet to the entire country. The performing arts have the unique ability to connect us through stories that move and unite – something we need in these uncertain times.
