Staged concert

Summer concert with Lea Søvsø & Michael Kleine, vocals and handbells – Roman Lemberg, organ & keyboard.

Tuesday, 12 August at 5 p.m.

Using bells, choreography and lighting, the trio creates a special atmosphere in which they perform arias and duets by French, Italian, English and German Baroque composers.

Ringkøbing Church. Admission: DKK 100 (free for young people under 25).

The concert is staged, with the performers changing positions to create an unusual dramaturgy. The specific use of daylight and candlelight creates a concentrated atmosphere. The singing and organ music are complemented by the sound of various hand-cast bells.

The trio will perform a programme of melodies, arias and duets featuring Baroque music by French, Italian, German and English composers. They will also sing hymns and Danish songs arranged by Roman Lemberg.

What makes the trio special is the artistic background of its members: Lea Søvsø is a costume designer and Michael Kleine is a set and lighting designer. They have worked together for many years in opera and music theatre productions.
