Built from 1830-1833 by the architect professor G.F.Hetsch in semi-oriental classic style. Friday evening services are at sundown, Saturday morning, however, at 9am. The incription over the entrance reads: 'Blessed be he who cometh in the name of God'. Guided visits can be arranged Monday and Wednesday afternoon or on Tuesdays - Jewish holidays excepted. Please call in advance: 3929 9520. Participation in the service on Saturdays at 9am likewise only by prior arrangement on 3929 9520. Only persons holding a passport or other type of ID will be admitted.
