Before the Light is a powerful, raw short film (25 min) that opens the door to an essential debate about the social and psychological consequences of abuse of children in the home. Through the characters’ life stories, the film illuminates the invisible mechanisms that can lead to a life marked by pain, escape and destructive patterns – but also how awareness and reflection can create change.
