Route description

The tour starts in Nordskoven and ends at Galløkken, but the route can vary in length depending on time and desire, from 8 km on the signposted route to a good 30 km if you really want to include the airport, Arnager and Rønne Harbour in the loop.

Regardless, there is a nice view of Rønne city and a good sunset spot in store, on all variants.

The first and last parts of the tour are on natural forest paths. The middle part is laid out with several technical elements, curves, bumps, a small rock garden and technical ups and downs down steep slopes.

You can choose to ride the entire marked trail, approximately 8 km from north to south, as a tour, or you can choose to access the technical part around the three lakes in the area. The area has an incredibly exciting industrial history.

It is difficult to imagine how it has changed its appearance over the years. The extraction of gravel and kaolin from the entire area has now stopped – but the area is left with deep pits, basins and not least artificial “mountains” and slopes that tower up around the artificial lakes east / northeast of Rønne center.
