Concert with the Haderslev Boys’ Choir
Come and see the Haderslev Boys’ Choir at Ringkøbing Church, where they will be giving a concert entitled We all give thanks to Him with song. The concert is part of the choir’s annual tour of Denmark.
The Haderslev Boys’ Choir was founded in 2008 by Henrik Skærbæk Jespersen and currently comprises around 65 boys and men aged 9 and over who love to sing. The choir is a central part of life at Haderslev Cathedral, where it takes part in festivals, concerts and special church services. The choir’s repertoire is rooted in classical church music and ranges from a cappella works to pieces accompanied by organ and orchestra.
Over the years, the choir has performed in all ten of Denmark’s cathedrals and has undertaken concert tours in a number of European countries and the USA.
About the Haderslev Boys’ Choir:
Since its inception, the Haderslev Boys’ Choir has developed into a much sought-after boys’ and men’s choir with a high level of activity. The choir tours abroad every year and has, amongst other things, performed for the royal family and the Danish government.
The choir is led by Henrik Skærbæk Jespersen, who founded the Haderslev Boys’ Choir in 2008.
