Dunkel in the Cathedral
Explore Ribe Cathedral’s hidden rooms, experience the grand organ and Ribe Mandskor, and visit the exhibition in the South Gallery. Children can enjoy the shadow play The Nightingale, while the tower offers views over the medieval town after dark. A day and evening filled with sensory experiences for children and adults alike, with free admission.

Bring your flashlight and let the light guide you through the dark corridors, up the tower and into the church's secret stories.
Along the way, you can experience the special atmosphere that arises when the old cathedral appears in a completely new light - or rather, in the dark.
For example, take an evening walk in the tower, where you can experience the view of Ribe at dusk.
It will be a unique and sensual evening, where Ribe Cathedral is transformed into a living storytelling room. An experience for both children and adults who are curious about exploring the church's hidden world.
The church is open from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Climb the tower. Visit the exhibition in the South Gallery.
