Midsummer’s Eve at Højhuset

As tradition dictates, Højhuset Culture Hotel celebrates Midsummer’s Eve with a festive summer evening focused on togetherness, music and atmosphere. The event includes a bonfire in the courtyard, communal singing and summer food inspired by the long, bright evenings.

The evening begins with a welcome from Højhuset and a Midsummer speech by Michael Nørager, Associate Professor and PhD at Aarhus University, Department of Business Development and Technology in Birk. A summer buffet from the grill is then served, featuring a selection of meats, fresh summer salads and homemade bread, followed by red berry pudding with cream for dessert.

Live music accompanies the dinner, and later guests gather for communal singing and the Midsummer bonfire in the courtyard. Afterward, the courtyard remains open, and the dining room and bar continue the evening’s celebrations. The bar is open throughout the evening, serving wine, beer, soft drinks and coffee.
