Summer tours at Aalborg Monastery
Join us for an atmospheric guided tour of Aalborg Abbey this summer, where history and culture go hand in hand. Here you can delve into stories of monastic life, frescoes, the Nazi occupation and, among other things, the Churchill Club.
Enjoy a special experience with a summer tour of Aalborg Monastery
From 2 June until 29 August, you can once again take part in one of the popular guided tours of Aalborg’s Holy Spirit Monastery. The tours take place mainly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as on some Saturdays. The tours are available in Danish, English and German.
The monastery, which houses exquisite frescoes and stories about monastic life, a Latin school, a hospital and Denmark’s first resistance group – the Churchill Club – is truly a special experience.
