The Mouse, the Bird & the Sausage

“The Mouse, the Bird & the Sausage” is a performance inspired by the Brothers Grimm fairy tale of almost the same name. Both grim and humorous, the story unfolds on a kitchen table, where potatoes, freshly baked rolls, a sausage and kitchen utensils become the fairy tale characters. Together, they offer a child-friendly commentary when the well-functioning household of the mouse, bird and sausage is disrupted by outside know-it-all interference. The performance is for children aged 5-9 and their adults and lasts about 45 minutes. It is performed for schools on the morning of 14 September at Cirkusbygningen in Sandvig and can be booked for school visits on 15, 16, 17 and 18 September.
