Anders Stephansen's Memorial Stone

Teacher and philanthropist Anders Stephansen (1791-1870) influenced the development of the Child Welfare Service in Denmark.

In 1852, he realised his Folk High School in Hindholm, and in 1869, he became decorated with an Order of the Dannebrog’s knight.
