Apple Day

"Day of the apple" in Algade, Middelfart

Experience a festive market celebrating the apple. Fruit farmers from all of western Funen are selling their harvest. Locally based producers are offering "æbleflæsk", chocolate, honey, apple pies, smoked cheese and other delicacies. 

From Middelfart Church and down to "Torvet", the street Algade has been transformed into a marketplace for everyone. On that occasion Middelfart Museum invites you to read about the history of the apple on western Funen, and visit Café Inga, where homemade apple pie is served. Free entrance at the museums on Algade 8 and Brogade 8.
