The area by Nørholm
The river Varde Å runs through the manor Nørholm Gods, which includes several listed landscape types such as inland dunes, heaths, meadows, moors and pastures.

The forest Nørholm Skov is very hilly, interveined by streams. A 3.5 km long marked nature trail leads through the forest with completely untouched areas. The trail continues along Varde Å and south of Sig, you find the listed Sig Kapelbanke, which used to include a chapel, burial ground and a sacred spring.
