Get pedalling around Ærø
With the Ærø Rundt cycle race, the local cycling club Flying Heroes invites you to an active experience open to both casual cyclists and experienced riders. The route takes participants through small villages, open countryside and along the coast, with the sea always in view.
Along the way, you’ll feel the special tranquillity that characterises the island. You set your own pace, and there’s plenty of opportunity to both push yourself and take breaks with views of the water.
Post-race socialising
The event is not just about the kilometres, but also about community and shared experiences.
That’s why Flying Heroes will be firing up the barbecue after the race and inviting everyone to a cosy evening with sausages and bread (catering is included in the race ticket). Drinks can be purchased on site.
Practical information
There are distances of 20, 50 and 100 km – the price of a race ticket depends on the distance.
Changing facilities, start and finish are at Arrebohallen in Ærøskøbing.
