Grand Joanne
Grand Joanne is a life-style hotel, opened in 2023 and is super centrally located in Vesterbro.
At Grand Joanne, the aim is to be a place where guests of Copenhagen and locals alike can meet. For the same reason, they encourage people who have not check in to sit in the lobby, grab a coffee, check their emails and chat with a friend you did not know you had.
For the same reason, they also organize a number of events, a weekly running club, fitness, etc.
The hotel has 162 rooms in 7 different categories and each room is designed specifically for its surroundings. In particular, they want to create an atmosphere of homeliness - your home away from home.
The decor is modern, with a deliberately feminine touch, which is expressed in the muted color palette, choice of materials and soft organic shapes.
The hotel's restaurant, Joanne's, serves food that is in many ways a cosmopolitan souvenir collection. The starting point is largely traditional Danish dishes, but spiced with flavors and can send you in the direction of all four corners of the world.
At the top of the Grand Joanne is their Rooftop bar, which is open to everyone, not just guests. The elevator in the lobby takes you up to the heights where you have a great view of Vesterbro and Indre By.
