Farmorhuset is a place full of experiences for the whole family, offering traditions, togetherness, and time for cozy activities. Especially children aged 2 to 10 will enjoy an unforgettable experience.

At Farmorhuset, time is turned back to the 1950s, where today’s digital toys are replaced with creative workshops, outdoor play, and homemade treats that taste like heaven.

A selection of our charming play workshops can be experienced in Stege on six Tuesdays during the school summer holidays, as well as in Vordingborg every Saturday throughout the summer season.

Come and explore the magical Teddy Bear Wheel of Fortune House – and don’t miss the special Home for Homeless Teddies… Find your very own cuddle bear, let time stand still, and listen to Grandma’s wonderful stories.

With Grandma, there’s always time for creativity – when the workshops are open, children can create their own gifts, wrap them beautifully, and bring them home. A friendly Grandma is often nearby to help get the creative projects started.

When hunger strikes, enjoy a warm, homemade dessert served with coffee, tea, or juice. Our tables are set with red-checked tablecloths and beautiful flowers, adding to the cozy courtyard atmosphere.

Visit Grandma’s Summer Garden in Stege – all year round

The Summer Garden in Stege is open all year. From the garden, there’s a beautiful view of the Noret lake, and it’s just 50 meters from the town center with its lovely shops. You’re welcome to enjoy your own picnic here, and the outdoor playroom is open for everyone to use freely.

Entrance to the garden is completely free, though voluntary donations for garden maintenance are appreciated. We kindly ask that you tidy up after your visit – that way, the garden is always neat and welcoming for the next guests.
