Restaurant Pondus
Restaurant Pondus, located by the river in Aarhus, is the younger sibling of the Michelin-starred restaurant Substans, and their take on a Danish organic bistro. Restaurant Pondus is also featured in Michelin's Nordic Guide 2025 as a Michelin Bib Gourmand experience.

Pondus combines the best of Danish cuisine with the homely and relaxed atmosphere of the French bistro style.
Simple and modern meals are enjoyed in cosy surroundings with rustic decor, which reinforces the relaxed and friendly atmosphere that defines Pondus. In the summer months, you can sit outside and enjoy watching the city life.
The menu changes with the seasons and always focuses on excellent taste
You can choose from à la carte, the three-course menu of the day or the Pondus package. We purchase our wines from small European producers, and the majority of them are organic too.
Restaurant Pondus once again received a Bib Gourmand in Guide Michelin Nordic Countries, which is awarded for quality food at reasonable prices.
