The skilift in Vestre Plantage Holstebro

In Holstebro you practice skiing on the ski lift or ski route in Vestre Plantage. The ski lift is opened in the event of heavy snowfall of 25 cm or more.

The ski lift must be used by people on skis and snowboards, but not on bobsleigh and toboggan, which is too dangerous.

You can also enjoy fine nature experiences on cross-country skiing in Vestre Plantage. The route, which is four kilometers long, starts at Harrestrupvej, extends through the plantation and ends at the starting point.

There is access to the ski lift from Ringkøbingvej approx. 1 kilometer west of the Dragon Military Base.
