VesterØl is a restaurant, gastropub, and dining bar on Læsø with a beautiful location overlooking the sea, right by one of Læsø's best beaches. There is a sunset view from the large terrace, and the menu features everything from Mediterranean food to local delicacies interpreted with high quality. Besides the food, there are always exciting wines, drinks, and various beers on the menu.
In a former freezing house from Læsø Fish Industry and with a fantastic location at Vesterø Harbor, with a large west-facing terrace and a view of the arrival of the Læsø ferry, sunsets, and Læsø's most popular beach, lies VesterØl - one of Læsø's most renowned dining spots - restaurant, gastropub, dining bar, or simply by name, VesterØl.
Gastronomic beacon
VesterØl was established in 2016 and immediately earned a well-deserved reputation both locally and nationally as one of Læsø's new gastronomic beacons, with a sea of accolades, nominations, and awards. A mix of rebellious decor and concept, complemented by great respect for local ingredients and top-notch culinary craftsmanship, an exciting wine and beer menu, and the ability to deliver a complete experience for all guests regardless of age and background.
VesterØl is still run by Læsø-born Kamilla Kristensen, who has a background from several top Nordic restaurants and is trained as a chef, waiter, and sommelier.
Local gathering spot
VesterØl offers plenty of events with both food and drinks - typically a few courses and always with an exciting twist. The quality is high, the price is somewhat bistro-like, and the atmosphere is informal and warm. On days with good weather, the terrace especially becomes a gathering spot for locals, summer house owners, and guests from near and far. There is also a food and drink truck, and regular grill nights and music events are organized. All activities are announced continuously on VesterØl's social media, primarily on their Facebook.

It is also possible to book VesterØl for private events or company events of various kinds. VesterØl also works closely with several local businesses on events - for example, Læsø GuestHouse and Læsø Slagteren.
