Watchmen Walk in Maribo

As a private individual or group, you can purchase a city walk in the form of a guardian who walks a route in the old town centre of Maribo. Contact the Maribo Tourist Association at turistmaibo@gmail.com or max.christensen56@gmail.com.

This is a guided tour around the old monastery town and stories about various special buildings and people are told vividly.

In ancient times, a watchman was a watchman who maintained peace and order at night in a town. Watchmen were usually armed with a morning star and sang a watchman's verse every time the clock struck full.

The city walk lasts approximately 1½ hours and is about 2-3 kilometres long. Max. 25-30 participants.

Price 2024: DKK 1,200 + DKK 30 handling fee.
