We are bodies of water, the moon pushes and pulls - Sound installation on Mandø

A sound installation under the open sky. Right where Mandø's dikes meet the Wadden Sea. Imagine standing on the dike. The wind is gentle and the air is salty. The sky changes from golden to purple, and at the same moment the sun kisses the horizon, the sound installation begins to play.

The sound installation was created for one specific time and one specific place: Sunset at the Storm surge column on Mandø. When you stand right there with your headset on and look out towards the horizon, the sounds flow through you like the tide in front of you.

The sound installation invites you to relax and be present in the transition between day and night. It is nature's own performance that you are standing in the middle of.
