A quick getaway to Flakfortet

It takes only 40 minutes to sail to Flakfortet. Here you will find what is left of the old fortress, which was build here as part of the city's defences.

The island was contructed in 1910-14 and is not a natural island. But it offers a unique nature and wildlife none the less.

You can either spend a few hours on the island or stay the night at the fortress.
