Cycling Route: Herregårdsruten Loop, Svendborg – 57.6 km
Set off from Svendborg Harbour on a scenic cycling loop through coastal landscapes, manor estates and peaceful countryside. This 57.6 km route combines highlights from both the Baltic Sea Cycle Route and the Manor Route.
The route begins at Svendborg Harbour and follows the coastline north, passing Christiansminde and Elsehoved Strand with views across The South Fyn Archipelago. Continue to Lundeborg Harbour, a pleasant place to take a break by the waterfront or beach.
Leaving the coast, the route follows parts of the Manor Route through East Funen's historic estate landscape. Along the way you pass Hesselagergård and Broholm Slot (castle), reflecting the area's long cultural heritage and manor history.
The return journey leads through the peaceful Vejstrup Ådal before continuing through the classic Funen countryside with open fields, apple orchards and coastal views. The loop finishes back at Svendborg Harbour.
