Music and light fill Aarhus Cathedral
During Aarhus Festival, Aarhus Cathedral provides the setting for a concert where music and light are composed as one complete experience. A striking light show accompanies the music, filling the more than 800-year-old cathedral with colour, sound and atmosphere.
Meet the musicians and light designer
The light design is created by Lars Egegaard Sørensen. The music is performed by organist Thomas Obeth and Aarhus Cathedral Choir under the direction of conductor Frieda Funk. Light and music are coordinated down to the smallest detail, allowing the cathedral's architecture to become part of the concert experience.
