Præstø Bakery & Præstø Ice Cream

Located in a charming historic building on Svend Gønges Square in the heart of Præstø, you’ll find Præstø Bagværk. The bakery shares its space with Lykke Cykler, so don’t be surprised if you enter through a bicycle shop – that’s part of the experience!

At Præstø Bagværk, everything is baked from scratch with great care, passion for craftsmanship, and high-quality ingredients. The bakery offers a delicious selection of sourdough breads, freshly baked rolls, Danish pastries, cakes, and sandwiches. Every day, you can enjoy breakfast either on the cozy first floor or outside on the square, accompanied by freshly brewed coffee.

The bakery also offers a small daily selection of gluten-free and vegan options.

During the summer season, the same building is home to Præstø Is, serving Ice Bakers ice cream. This Danish-made ice cream is crafted from quality ingredients, with flavor and quality at the forefront. You’ll find classic favorites as well as vegan and gluten-free options. All cookies, cakes, and creams used in the ice cream are made in-house at the bakery next to the ice cream production.

The first floor of both the bakery and the bicycle shop is set up as a welcoming board game café. Guests of all ages are invited to pick a game and enjoy a relaxed moment together. Playing is free of charge, but outside food and drinks are not permitted.
