Hvalpsund Strand is a lovely wide sandy beach with excellent conditions for children. The diving tower provides challenges for the older ones.

Surfers also have good conditions, as there are three surf spots.

There are good access options with parking close to the beach. Toilet facilities are available, one of them also with a shower.
