Along the way you'll meet both nature and people, and sometimes dialects that remind you just how large and varied Denmark can feel.

From island to island – and through history

The tour starts and ends on Mors, the largest island in the Limfjord, and takes you onward through Salling, along Venø Bugt and Nissum Bredning to Thyholm and Sydthy.

The fjord is linked together by bridges and ferries, giving you the opportunity to experience the area in stages – with shifting views and perspectives.

Along the route you'll encounter traces of the past in the form of burial mounds and historic landscapes bearing witness to the presence of the Vikings.

You also have the option of detours to both Venø and Jegindø. On Venø you'll find a distinctive natural environment with abundant wildlife, while Jegindø offers small stories from the history of fishing – including at the little museum Æ Fywerhus.
