Elmelunde church

It is probably Møn's oldest church. Started approx. year 1080.

It is richly decorated by the Elmelund master, especially the arches of the church. The motifs are probably taken from one of the late Middle Ages' poor man's bibles, which through the woodcut explains the word of the scripture to the layman.
