Sea trout – and sea trout anglers – love points and headlands, and the northern tip of Langeland is practically one long point. A strong current often runs along Frankeklint, a classic fishing spot with large rocks, seaweed forests, and deep water.

Further north, you can wade from a sandbar all the way to the large boulder – Ørestenen – which lies 5–10 meters offshore, depending on the water level. Here begins a large and fairly wide reef. At low tide, it’s possible to wade about 75 meters out onto the reef, which spans several hundred meters in width.

Even further north, the seabed becomes more sandy, but you’ll also find another long and very narrow reef.
