Fredericia has a good selection of free and paid parking (with and without time limit) for you to use when visiting the town.
Parking is generally available in designated and marked areas in the streets of the town centre – be aware of on-site parking regulations – but if you want to find a central parking space quickly and easily, use the larger car parks located in the town centre instead. These are within walking distance of Fredericia's pedestrian streets with their excellent shopping, Fredericia's attractions and café and town life.
Free parking in Fredericia
Free, unlimited parking is available in the car parks:
- Norgesgade Nord
- Norgesgade Syd
- Car park Øster Voldgade v. Østerstrand
Free, limited parking in the Domus Axel car park:
The Domus Axel car park also offers free parking, but for a maximum of 3 hours from 9.00 to 17.00 on weekdays and 9.00 to 12.00 noon on Saturdays. The entrance to the car park is on Købmagergade. Remember to set your parking disc!

Paid parking in Fredericia
It costs DKK 8 per hour to park on weekdays between 9.00 and 17.00 and Saturdays between 9.00 and 12.00 noon in the following car parks:
- Rådhus Nord (entrance via Jyllandsgade)
- Rådhus Syd (entrance via Sjællandsgade)
- Bülows Plads
- Danmarksstræde 13
At the car parks below, parking costs DKK 12 per hour every day of the week, including Sundays and public holidays between 9.00 and 17.00:
- Madsby Activity Park car park
- Østerstrand car park
At Fredericia Municipality's paid parking you can pay with cards, MobilePay and parking apps from EasyPark, Parkman, ParkPark and ParkOne.
Paid parking in Kanalbyen, near the harbour
Parking in Kanalbyen’s car parks costs DKK 10 per hour ex. fee (which can be paid via the parking app EasyPark) at the following car parks:
- Car park v. Oldenborggade east of Gl. Port
- Kongensgade
- Sundegade
