Geocaching on Samsø

Geocaching is a modern version of treasure hunting, looking for small treasures or solving puzzles in the countryside using a smartphone or GPS. There are treasures or caches all over the world – and many on Samsø too.

A cache is a container hidden in the countryside. You can find it by entering the cache’s coordinates in an app on your smartphone or GPS. Several of the caches reveal a brief history of the place or events which once took place at the location.
