Gjøl Inn is situated by the habour with a view of the Limfjord.
The Inn was built in 1901 and with its corbiesteped gable has become a symbol for sailors visiting the area.
All year round, many activities take place at Gjøl Inn where the locals as well as tourists enjoy a meal of the special delicacy fried eel.
In 1925, the Danish author Hans Kirk stayed at Gjøl Inn and researched for his novel 'Fiskene' or The Fishermen. A TV- production of the novel was made in 1975 - 77, using the Inn as the main scene.
On some evenings in the summertime, there is local entertainment in the front yard of the Inn.
