Glyngøre Havn/Habour
Glyngøre habour is affiliated to the free port organization. The harbour is completely calm at any weather condition.
The harbour at Glyngøre has an exciting harbour environment which colloquially is called "Little Skagen". In the harbour the old shed (Æ Kassehus), where the fishermen used to mend their nets, is now the local assembly hall. In 2011 the restaurant Limfjordens Hus opened right beside the water line with a view of the bridge Sallingsundbroen. The Museum Glyngøre Kulturstation in the former railway station has a permanent exhibition about fishing in the Limfjord throughout the 1900s. The former railway to Skive is now a cycling and hiking path.
