The Green Clover Leaf Route in Otterup
Take a nice walk along the love path and the turnip lane in Otterup on the green cloverleaf path!
xperience Otterup’s history and nature on the 2.6 km “Grønne Kløversti” trail. It’s easy to follow, and there are plenty of spots to stop along the way and enjoy the views.
The walk starts at Torvet (the main square) in Otterup and follows Jernbanegade past the old railway station. The station was built in 1882 and helped Otterup grow into a bigger town.
Next, the route continues along the old “roebane” (beet railway), built in 1896. This track is one of the best-preserved beet railway routes in Denmark.
On the way back towards Torvet, you’ll pass Otterup Andedam (the duck pond), with benches and tables—perfect for a snack or a coffee/hot cocoa while you watch the ducks and swans on the water.
