Guf og Kugler

Since 2014, Guf & Kugler has been a regular summer stop for ice-cream lovers in Nibe. This family-run ice-cream parlour has created a truly special ice-cream experience with its philosophy that there are no staff and no customers – only ice-cream lovers and ice-cream connoisseurs. And it works: Guf & Kugler has been named Denmark’s Best Ice Cream Parlour several times – most recently in 2025.

The ice cream at Guf & Kugler is a delightful blend of Italian gelato and classic Danish cream ice cream. This is rich, creamy gourmet ice cream made from organic whole milk, cream and quality ingredients – often with the addition of fresh fruit, chocolate or the ice cream maker’s secret ingredients. Vegan guests won’t be disappointed either – there are also homemade sorbets that are fresh, fruit-filled and bursting with flavour.

Sidevognen

If you prefer savoury to sweet, do pop into Sidevognen – the ice cream parlour’s cosy extension, serving gourmet hot dogs and speciality beers from breweries such as Bad Seed Brewing and Fuglsang. Here you can also enjoy refreshing frozen drinks made with sorbet – perfect for a summer’s day by the harbour.

There’s seating available outside, inside and in the atmospheric orangery.

Opening hours and season

Guf & Kugler is open seasonally, and opening hours vary. Sidevognen has separate opening hours and usually closes 30–60 minutes before the ice-cream parlour, so there’s still time for dessert. The current opening hours can be found on Guf & Kugler’s Facebook and Instagram.
