Hesnæs Beach

Hesnæs actually has two small beaches located on either side of Hesnæs Harbour and the cosy bakery. On the right side of Hesnæs Harbour you can park along the beach, while on the left side you can park in the harbour.

The beach is frequently used by the local residents of Falster, but there are also many cycling tourists who make a stop, as the Berlin-Copenhagen cycle route runs past Hesnæs.

On the cliff to the right you can see Pomle Nakke Traktørsted, where there is room both inside and outside for good coffee and cake, ice cream, a cold beer or a good glass of wine. They serve light and hearty dishes with local produce.

In Hesnæs harbour is Spisehallen with its own pastry shop, which is a combined bakery and café. Here you can enjoy a good breakfast and lunch, or buy delicious bread and cake to take home.

There is access to toilets at the harbour in Hesnæs.

Between the start of the forest and Pomle Nakke, nude (sun)bathing is allowed when the beach is not crowded.
