Not far from Hadsund lies Ajstrup Bay, a protected area where you can experience beautiful nature, steep cliffs, and flat coastal landscapes. The marked 5-kilometer route starts at the parking lot on Ajstrupvej. From here, you can head east along the sunken road, leading you through Havkær Forest and Ajstrup Thicket, offering a fantastic view of the fjord.

The area is home to rare and fascinating plants and serves as an important wintering ground for a variety of beautiful bird species. Along the route, there are picnic tables and benches where you can take a break and enjoy your packed lunch.
