Hjort Bier
Hjort Beer is a North Jutland family business with roots dating back to 2015, when founder Carsten Hjort began experimenting with malt, hops, and yeast in his basement in the pursuit of the perfect beer.
It began as a passion but quickly evolved into something more when Hjort Beer won gold at the Danish National Homebrew Championship in 2017 and has since been awarded numerous medals and prizes for its beer styles both at home and abroad.
Carsten’s background as an engineer and his passion for perfecting classic beer styles, combined with a keen sense for flavor nuances, has led to the development of a broad palette of different beer types. Hjort Beer’s brews are organically crafted using only the finest ingredients, and their focus on quality ensures that their beers are not only delicious but also sustainable.
