Hundborg is an active little village with approx. 600 inhabitants, where the groceries are bought in Dagli'brugsen, which is the city's only shop.

Like most smaller communities, the city has a lot of associations behind a lot of local events.

The parish house is the city's gathering place in the winter, while the sports ground and the small plantation Dybdahlsgave are the setting for many summer activities. Most recently, the Gardener's Garden in the middle of the city has arrived, and here is an optimal break for the many cycling tourists who come through the city.

In-depth gift is cared for and cared for by a plantation association. Here, Skt. His Fest.
South east of the plantation you will find Hundborg Mose, where there is a very rich bird life and where during the war millions of tons of fuel were produced for use in the surrounding area. There is a small group that still has the machinery for peat production, and they occasionally demonstrate their ability.

You get the best overview of the bog from the parking lot at Hundborg Friskole, where there is a formidable view over the bog and over to the neighboring towns Snedsted and Sundby.

North of the city lies the so-called Hundborg Bue, which is an edge moraine from the last ice age, pushed up from Sjørring Søs basin. There were 48 burial mounds on top of it, and there are still many.

Up here you will also find Nordthy's highest point "Bavnehøj" (71 m), from which there is a fantastic view. Eg. there is a good view of the 850 ha. large sea ring lake which is now dried out.

Of building sights, the old and very beautiful Hundborg Church with furniture from the 1600s can be recommended.

The parking space at the church is the optimal place to start the trip on the marked hiking route through the city, where in places of interest there are plans that tell what you see.

In the surrounding area you will find Faddersbøl Mill, which was restored in 2002 with all the old furniture intact, and with the history of the mill and mills in planes. The mill is open to the public every day during the summer season at. 10:00 - 18:00.

There is the beautiful Jannerup Church with North Jutland's finest sculpture work from 1648. The church was among the country's richest in the 1700s to 1800s due to its money block.

In the parish there are three old farmhouses: Råstrup, Ulstrup and Faddersbølgaard, which all contain interesting stories. In ancient days, it was noble families who owned them. The farms can be found back to the 1300s, and the owners have, through the ages, had a great influence on the design of the area.
