Kongesøjlen

When the danish King Frederick the Sixth visited Grønnestrand in 1824, he stated:

"This is the most beautiful spot in my kingdom"

In commemoration of this visit, a local squire erected a monument callede "Kongestenen" (The kings stone/monument)
