Lucia procession in Esbjerg

This year, the procession is led by students from the Boldesager School choir, led by Anne Præstegård Thomsen, together with the always festive Citynisser and their families.

They walk with torches through the city center, spreading both light and singing joy, while the tunes of "Nu bæres lyset frem" fill the streets.

The procession starts from Esehaven at 4 pm, continues along Torvegade to Torvet, and further through Kongensgade, before ending at Strandby Torv, with small musical stops along the way.
