Lyngvig Fyr (Lighthouse)

The area around Lyngvig Lighthouse offers many adventures apart from enjoying the spectacular view of the sea, the fjord, and the landscape below. There’s also great parking and the possibility of taking a stroll down to the beach or up the dunes.

Step inside Lyngvig Lighthouse and see how the staircase winds its way up through the 38 metre high lighthouse. Count the steps on your way to the top and take in the view through the small windows along the way. When you reach the top and step out, you'll be greeted by the most amazing views of the sea, fjord and dunes.

The area around Lyngvig Lighthouse also offers many free experiences.

Lighthouse keeper's house with shop and café

Visit the Lighthouse Master's House with its cosy museum shop, which is packed with a large selection of fun retro items, nostalgic handicrafts, local goods and souvenirs. At the back of Fyrmesterboligen you will find the cosy café environment. The café offers light meals, cakes and hot and cold drinks, which can be enjoyed both inside and in the large outdoor area around the lighthouse.

Large nature playground

In the large natural playground around the lighthouse keeper's house, the family's youngest and young at heart can play back in time and rescue brave sailors in dramatic strandings on the cable car or try to crawl around in a giant whale skeleton.

Take an adventure in nature

Lyngvig Lighthouse is located in the most beautiful dune landscape - and only a few metres from the North Sea. Park your bike or car and take a walk through the dunes, head to the beach and feel the
North Sea.

You can also download the popular and free Natureventyr app and go on an adventure in the area with the boy Anker, who discovers and tries to help a stranded whale.
