Marstal boasts Ærø’s largest marina, which provides great amenities to its guests. It is located just a short walk away from both the commercial centre of the city and Eriks Hale – a stunning soft sand spit with highly photogenic traditional beach huts in all colours .
The biggest marina on the island is in Marstal. It was named Harbour of the Year by the Dansk Tursejlere (Danish Tour Sailors) association in 2019. The marina has a full range of facilities, including a playground, charming barbecue shelters and good toilet/ bathroom facilities. It is also within easy walking distance of the town, where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and ice cream booths. The view from the marina isn’t bad either. The picture here shows the view out over Eriks Hale – a delightful beach lined with beach houses in all colours
On Ærø, we like to welcome our guests in person. This means there are no payment machines in our marinas. Instead, we ask you to pay our harbour fee collector who visits all the jetties every morning and evening. You can pay cash (DKK and EUR) as well as with Danish and international credit cards.
